Linnea Vegh and former 1026 intern Dietrich Meyer present to you “Wheat Paste Your Heart Out”, a celebration of Philadelphia’s wheat pasters. We will be showcasing the 30, 4′x8′, panels that we have placed around the city and what the cities artists have done with them. We will also be constructing a large installation that will be put in Vox’s new AUX space. So come out on this night, November 12th, to celebrate the artists in this city of ours! Leah and I co-designed this single sided, single color broadsheet to be printed on site at Occupy Philadelphia. In keeping with the democratic spirit of the protest, all of the content was culled from signs we saw in the re-christened People’s (formerly Dilworth) Plaza on the west side of Philadelphia’s City Hall. Inspired partially by other printed projects associated with the Occupy movement (Occupy George, The Occupied Wall St. Journal and various other projects) we printed, dried, folded and gave away these prints last Friday afternoon.

The gallery is generally open noon to midnight-ish, as long as someone is here.
