1901 : The Very First Zine Ever!!!
Adam Wallacavage was kind enough to show me a little something special he found in the third floor ceiling from many years back. As it turns out, AJW did not invent and publish the first zine in America circa 1958. Adam brought proof that actually the Christians invented and published the first zine circa 1901 at our one and only 1026 Arch street address. Sorry AJW , Adam de – throned your previous title and now “Christianity In Ernest” has replaced “Labs With Abs” as the space’s first zine. thanks adam

Small Change presents: "CUMMING OF AGE" @ MegaWords 9/16
The Small Change film screening series is proud to present “Cumming of Age.” A show of experimental short films about time-travel, teen angst, awkwardness, analingus, loneliness, the creation of the world, and the sorry state of Marxism.
Featuring works by artists such as: Miranda July, Jim Trainor, Eileen Maxson, Kent Lambert, Brett Neiman, Kyle Harris, Ken martin, and the amazing Bruce Bickford the master of claymation and arguably the world’s greatest living animator! For ten years Bickford worked for Frank Zappa making shorts and subsequently lost all his rights to that work. The piece in the show is the first project he made after breaking off with Zappa and it took him five years to complete.Do not miss this rare screening of his work!
