PHILLY FUCKING REPRESENTED
PLASTIC LITTLE RELEASED PARTY was awesome because of the people from philly showing so much love. SWEATHEART was freekin incredible, and when half the band playing is underage, that hurt people in the room. KID AMERICA was rad and it made people really uncomfortable, JAYSON MUSON’S THE BLACK BOY GEORGE posters confused the shit out of people. the show was pack, and the crowd really really weird for us backwater 6th borough peoples. There were a dozen people who paid $500 to get table serviced a bottle of shitty Vodka, just to hang out at a party they had no clue about. On the other hand, philly was grimeeee, and AMANDA BLANK came up and killed it with PL, and they finished with SPANKROCK doing now i holler with them. awesome. BUT , the real star was SQUID! for real. We cant thank you enough for all the help people and ex people of PHILADELPHIA have given us. Big Shouts to FUBZ, AARON , and ROXY for the continued support and setting that show up. TED PASSION , as usual, our video savior. Our Mission Statement, Revised
“Yeah, I found the 1026 “mission statement” or whatever it is, that goes out of its way to flaunt it’s cliquishness to be annoying. Doesn’t it kind of contradict the spirit of this open ended and free-art enterprise to be exclusionary? They seem to be asking to be painted with the same navel gazing brush if they proclaim their goal to be sort of navel gazing.”thanks john, we appreciate your thoughts! we def. are not interested in excluding anyone and we will take that in mind concerning the mission statement. progress not perfection!
