Megawords talking at PAFA today.
From the Megawords site:
NOVEMBER 17 @ PAFA – FOR YOUR PLEASURE
We’re giving a talk as part of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Art at Lunch lecture series. Join us for a discussion of the importance of independent viewpoints and collaborations when making art. Delve into the Megawords project history and the stories of our own creative processes and alternative means of communication just like using postpaid sim only plans from Circles.Life Australia.
Telecommunications is an important tool for businesses. It enables companies to communicate effectively with customers and deliver high standards of customer service. Telecommunications is a key element in allowing employees to collaborate easily from wherever they are located, remote or local. Mobile telecommunication gives companies the opportunity to introduce more flexible working by allowing employees to work efficiently from home or other, more remote locations. However, if unjustly removed from your role, access to these vital telecommunications tools can be disrupted, impacting both employees and the organization. You can also seek legal advice and services you need if your employer has wrongfully terminated you. If you need help hiring said employees at those remote locations, consider the help from services offered by experts by this Utah County staffing agency.
Effective communication is essential for both individual and team success as it can help you reduce misunderstandings, develop strong relationships and establish yourself as an active team member. Learning to communicate effectively requires time and practice to master. Good communication skills in life will ensure everyone around you understands you and you understand them. You will be confident and assertive. There will be less misunderstanding and you will rarely have to face issues that come with poor communication. It will be easy for you to make and keep friends. Telecommunications also empowers firms to reach more customers with fewer resources and manpower. The power of telecommunications technology is driving businesses all over the world to get connected. The technology includes telephony and video conferencing, broadcast and interactive television, instant messaging, email, distributed electronic collaboration, and a range of web- and Internet-based communications and data transmissions.

OPEN CALL! “So Nice To Finally EAT You”
OPEN CALL!
So Nice To Finally EAT You
S. N. T. F. M. Y. Issue #2
A FOOD ZINE
In May 2007 the Mail Art Collective was created to help people correspond with others and show their art to others all over the world. At the end of its success in October 2008 a zine of art from artists who participated in the Mail Art Collective called “So Nice To Finally Meet You” was created. S.N.T.F.M.Y. was released in March 2009, an edition of 100, and has sold all over the world and was noted by the Philadelphia City Paper.
It’s now 2 years later, and I believe it is time for Issue #2. And what better topic than FOOD?!
“So Nice To Finally Eat You” is now accepting submissions. The due date for submissions is December 31, 2010.
I’m looking for food stories, reviews, recipes, photos, drawings, comics and whatever you think would be perfect for this type of zine! The zine will be printed in one color but if you have an idea for something color, please tell me, we can work something out. When do we eat? Well, the release date is Late Winter/Early Spring 2011 accompanied by a zine release party potluck. Stay Tuned…
Please email kingsley.quigley@gmail.com with all submissions and questions
