+++++++
About the Space 1026 Art Auction: For the past twelve years we have opened our gallery to artists from all over the world, held events open to the public, and provided a collaborative and supportive environment to the Philadelphia arts community. Our annual auction makes these things possible, and it’s a great way to find amazing art that won’t break the bank. Last years’ auction was a huge success and a ton of fun; this year we’re hoping to make it even better.

PLEASE BE WELCOME!
On Saturday August 15th will be the opening for a show I’ve been working on for the past couple of months – it’s called “Please Be Welcome” which is my attempt to transform a gallery (Fuse – NYC – LES) into a Philadelphia apartment. The show will have a faux bedroom, kitchen and dining room set up and the artists within the show have done awesome jobs in contextualizing their work to fit within these parameters (life size paper mache refrigerators, wooden stoves, windows facing brick walls etc)
It should be a fun relaxed opening – would be great to see you there (turns out this nyc place is a big city with like a bunch of stuff to do and see.. huh)
PLEASE BE WELCOME
