Vaudevillains NYB Comic Performance

GLOBAL WARMING DELAY!

The Vaudevillains, will now be lining up to march at 10:45am at Broad and Washington. We are 3rd in line to march up broad street at 11:45am. So 3 minus 10 times 11 equals Mummer O’Clock.

Be on the west side of City Hall at noon for the the spectacle we call “Mummers in the Global Warming Induced Perpetual Summer.

The Vaudevillains, the 1026 Mummer Brigade, will be hosting a 24 hour sewing marathon and telethon style variety show to help raise funds for the upcoming Mummer’s Day Parade. Noon to noon. Saturday to Sunday. 15th to 16th

This event will be broadcast live to the internet. Watch online and make a donation. We will be sewing, dancing, laughing, watching movies and sharing food for 24 hours straight.

Saturday December 15th
8 – 10pm Comedy by Non-Comedians : Hilarious comedy by your friends.
10pm Pinata Party : Smash something. Get Candy.

Sunday December 16th
7-10am Project Mummer Sew Off : Members square off to sew the best wench.
10 – 11am Vaudevillains Rehearsal : Watch us rehearse our NYE performance.

We will also be projecting movies, practicing our dance moves and building a huge octopus. Join us!

Todd Kimmell has performed as a nine and a half foot tall golden robot New Wave crooner, singing Spandau Ballet’s GOLD, and as one of two ten foot tall abominable snowmen, The Dueling Bumbles, singing the Robert Gordan arrangement of ConwayTwitty’s ITS ONLY MAKE BELIEVE. All this across the street at the Trocadero with an orchestra back-up.

“What can I say?”, says Kimmell. “The ham bone ‘s connected to the jaw bone. You phoned and asked me to serve as auctioneer for your goddam auction. Now you gotta put up with me.”
