Matt Leines has shown his work all over the place. From well known party spots/art galleries in New York and Los Angeles to Spanish Museums and Japanese music festivals. He had a book come out called You Are Forgiven in 2008. This will be among his first proper showings in Philadelphia, the town he calls home, since his arrival three years ago. Linnea Vegh and former 1026 intern Dietrich Meyer present to you “Wheat Paste Your Heart Out”, a celebration of Philadelphia’s wheat pasters. We will be showcasing the 30, 4’x8′, panels that we have placed around the city and what the cities artists have done with them. We will also be constructing a large installation that will be put in Vox’s new AUX space. So come out on this night, November 12th, to celebrate the artists in this city of ours!
